Study Abroad Services was born from the need of qualified advice regarding international relations in the area of Education in Spain. Based in Barcelona, we provide all the services needed for student mobility, from undergraduate studies to internships, for both students and agencies.
Santi Alias, its founder, was in the core of the Barcelona Universities’ opening process to the students from the whole world, back in the 90s. Starting his career as Head of International Programs at the UAB (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona), he developed his position and became International Marketing Director. Santi Alias developed since then multiple success projects concerning the attraction and reception of international students in collaboration with all major Universities from Spain.

Juliana Moreno MADRID
Sociologist, Researcher in Techniques and Researcher in Methods in Sociology and Communication Theory, in Applied Linguistics and Master of Arts in Spanish at Michigan State University. She is Director of eSTUcampus, dedicated to the dissemination and support of international education. With more than twenty years of experience as Coordinator of the School of Business Languages of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid and Director of International Projects of Eduespaña, Juliana has been dedicated to the establishment, improvements in the design, planning, development and monitoring of international programs. The training at the workplace and the learning of languages for professional use set the objective of their work.
Amalia Herencia Grillo SEVILLE
PhD on Intercultural Education by the University of Sevilla. She has worked in Education Abroad for over 16 years as a Resident Director in Barcelona and Sevilla. With a BA in English and Fine Arts and a Masters degree in Education, she decided to make a profesional break in her career and started to research on the real needs, expectations and outcomes of students on Study Abroad and the needs and roles that local professionals played. Founder of the School for Intercultural Education, Board member of SIETAR España and University profesor.
